Block of salt
Diamond Crystal Brine Blocks are hydraulically compressed blocks of Sodium Chloride. The blocks are approved for direct use in regenerating water softener ion-exchange resins by both the Food & Drug Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and meets the AWWA Standard for Sodium Chloride B200. The blocks contain no additives. The blocks are virtually 100% water soluble. This eliminates messy brine tank cleaning, providing efficient operation of the water softening unit.
